Albins Final Drive Assembly - GTR
The front and rear final drive assemblies (ring gear / pinion shaft) need to be replaced as a matching set. The end result is about a 10% taller ratio. These gears are manufactured to ISO 9001 / 2008 quality standards, made of billet high-alloy proprietary grade steel, and utilize CAD engineered custom tooth profiles. Gears are Shot Peened, Micro-Polished, and ISF treated. This has been proven to reduce gear friction, reduce noise and vibration, which in turn improves gear life up to 300%! Gears are profile ground for better tooth contact, less wear, and far less gear noise compared to other aftermarket gear sets.
The final drive gears are made using a state-of-the-art Klingelnberg machine. Klingelnberg knows the requirements for machine loading better than anyone specializing only in automation. The integrated Klingelnberg solution has led to tremendous advances in production and process quality. This is the same type of equipment used by many high-end car makers, such as Porsche and Ferrari.
