Parts & Cluster Warranty
Gear clusters are difficult to warranty as they are installed by other people that may or may not know what they are doing. Take a close look at your cluster to be sure it’s excellent before installing! If a gear cluster is installed and run in a trans then has issues there is no warranty! We would be more than happy to try to help figure out why you had a failure, but we can not offer refunds or warranty repairs/replacement parts.
To be completely straight forward, we wish there was a way to warranty parts that are used and run in a vehicle, but unfortunately there is a risk having others assemble and install parts like this and that’s the risk you take. There is a reason why no one else offers gear clusters or as many parts as we do for the DIYer. If you don’t know what to look for then you shouldn’t be doing the work yourself. If you are not comfortable with this risk, then have us rebuild the trans or engine for you fully. That way there is no question about anything with the unit, and the whole unit is under warranty for our 14 month period.
This type of warranty is common. Look at any aftermarket piston, crank, or rod warranty and they will say the same thing. Once you install forged pistons in your engine and run them, they are yours.
The legal way of putting it:
