This Upgrade Kit is good for cars making up to 750 lb/ft torque -- 8HP45 / 50 / 51

• Revised Planetary Sun Gear #3 (8HP45) <-- Only necessary if upgrading the Clutch Hub E

TECH NOTES:

The OEM Clutch Hub E has been known to break in cars making less than 700 lb/ft torque. It is highly recommended to upgrade the E Hub if the car is going to be pushed hard. The Clutch E Piston will also need to be machined down 0.75mm to hit the hub clip.Some of the OEM C & E Steels may need to be reused to get the clearances correct.

BMW Owners: Some version of the 8HP45 use an older revision of the Planetary Sun Gear #3, which has an incompatible spline count. Fret not, as we offer the updated Sun Gears with 62 splines!
